3.What Data We DO NOT Collect

The Socio Data Management Cross Tab Tool for Power BI operates entirely within the Microsoft Power BI environment and does not collect, access, store, or transmit:

• Report content – We do not access the content, structure, or design of your Power BI reports

• Authentication credentials – We do not access or store any Power BI credentials or authentication tokens
• Organizational information – We do not collect information about your company, department, or organizational structure

4. How the Visual Processes Data

4.1 Local Processing Only

All data processing performed by the Socio Data Management Cross Tab Tool occurs entirely within your Power BI environment:

• Data is processed by Microsoft Power BI infrastructure
• Calculations, significance tests, and visualizations are performed locally
• No data leaves your Power BI tenant or environment
• The Visual has no external service dependencies

4.2 Microsoft Power BI Data Handling

When you use the Visual in Power BI:

• Data flows from your data sources to Power BI according to Microsoft’s data processing policies
• The Visual receives data from Power BI’s data model as defined in your report
• All data handling complies with Microsoft Power BI’s security and privacy standards

4.3 No External Connections

The Visual:

• Does not make HTTP requests to external servers
• Does not use cookies or browser storage for tracking purposes

How verification works:

• License validation occurs through Microsoft 365 Admin Center
• License assignments are managed by your organization’s Microsoft 365 administrator
• The Visual checks license status through Power BI’s built-in licensing APIs
• No license information is transmitted outside Microsoft’s infrastructure

Data protection:

• License validation data remains within Microsoft’s environment
• We do not receive or store individual license holder information
• Your organization controls all license assignments and user access

5.2 Free Edition

The Free Edition requires no license validation and operates without any authentication or verification process.

This Visual operates as a certified Microsoft Power BI Custom Visual and relies on Microsoft’s infrastructure:
